This mod is for CubeCart v3

Random Sales mod allows you to configure your site to have products put on sale automatically

The Random Sales mod will select products randomly from your entire catalog. Those products that have been put on sale from the product edit screen will not be selected.
This allows you to maintain your existing Sale Items box. You can still choose any item in your catalog and place it on sale for as long as you wish. With this mod, you will be adding a new box to your web site for Daily Specials.

From the mods admin panel you will be able to select and manage the following options:

  1. Choose number of items on sale
  2. Choose number of items displayed in the Daily Specials box. If this number is less than the number of items on sale a link to view all Daily Specials will be automatically added to the box
  3. The % off sale amount
  4. Enable/Disable the mod
The module also does not count any sale items that were manually assigned via product edit screen 
The mod updates the items selected for Daily Special every night at midnight.
